Capabilities
Our equipment varies from small rigs for shallow holes to deep hole rigs
capable of 2,500 feet. Our mud rotary rigs are capable of drilling
slim holes up to 46 inch holes. While water wells are our specialty we
also drill de-watering wells and cathodic deep ground beds. Our rigs along with their capabilities
are listed below.
Rig #2 and #3
Rigs #2 and #3 are sister rigs. Both are Gefco Jed-A truck
mounted mud rotary rigs. The rigs are outfitted with 7.25" x
10" skid mounted duplex mud pumps, 3.5" drill pipe, 18"
rotary tables, hydraulic jacks and double drum drawworks with air
clutches. These rigs are outfitted with 50' extra wide masts built
especially for large diameter casings. These rigs were
designed for 6" to 24" cased wells from 0 to 1,000 feet.
Rig #2 is also capable of air assist reverse circulation drilling with
6" flanged drill pipe. Capability with reverse drilling is up
to 300 feet deep with 28" diameter holes.
Rig #4
Rig #4 is a new truck mounted Midway 1500. Rig #4 has a
7.5" x 8" deck mounted duplex mud pump, 3.5" drill pipe,
8.25" hydraulically retractable rotary table, hydraulic jacks and
double drum drawworks with air clutches. This rig was designed for
4" to 10" cased wells from 0 to 1,000 feet.
Rig #6
Rig #6 is a Skytop-Brewster drilling rig mounted on a crane
carrier. Rig #6 has a skid mounted 7.25" x 12" duplex
mud pump, 3.5" drill pipe, 18" rotary table, hydraulic jacks
and single drum drawworks with an air clutch. This rig was
designed for 6" to 24" cased wells from 0 to 2,500 feet deep.
Rig #9
Rig #9 is a Gardner-Denver (Mayhew) 750, truck mounted mud rotary
drilling rig. Rig #9 has a truck mounted 5" x 6" deck
mounted duplex mud pump, 2 7/8" drill pipe, 5.25" rotary
table, hydraulic jacks and double drum drawworks. This rig was
designed for 3" to 6" cased wells from 0 to 300 feet deep.
This rig is mounted on a 6 x 6 all wheel drive truck with a front bumper
winch.
Rig #10
Rig #10 is an Ardco top drive, mud rotary, buggy mounted
drilling rig. Rig #10 has a deck mounted 5" x 6" duplex mud pump, 2
3/8" x 10' drill pipe and an auxiliary hydraulic winch with a
derrick extension. This rig was
designed for 3" to 6" cased wells from 0 to 300 feet deep.
The main feature of this rig is the center articulating, all terrain
buggy with cane and rice tires, onto which it is mounted. This rig
can access remote locations in very muddy conditions. It is
ideal for use in dewatering projects. The support truck that goes
along with this rig is a 2.5 ton, 6 x 6 all wheel drive truck with an
1800 gallon water tank and 10,000 # winch.
