Jonathan LaBorde

Jonathan LaBorde currently serves as Vice President of Continental Drilling & Service, Inc. Jon has worked at Continental since 1991 in various capacities.  

Jon heads up the operations department and is responsible for all the day to day scheduling of all the service and drilling crews. Jon has years of knowledge in drilling, pump installation, machine work, welding, and trucking.

Civic work includes: Member of Joppa Lodge, 32nd degree Mason, and member of El Karubah Shrine Club. 

Hobbies include: Motorcycle riding with friends, duck & deer hunting as well as target shooting.

Family: Married to Colleen LaBorde for 17 years with three children; CeCe, Jake and Pierce.


Larry LaBorde

Larry LaBorde currently serves as President of Continental Drilling & Service, Inc.  He graduated from Louisiana Tech University in the fall of 1979 with a BS in Civil Engineering and began work for the company immediately thereafter. Currently his responsibilities include: Overall project management on all contracts, project planning and scheduling, oversight on all bids, oversight on all service and shop work, final design on pumping equipment & purchasing responsibility on contract work. He also does the design and engineering on all design/build contracts, design and supervision of all specialty equipment construction, preparation of all hydro-geologic reports on required contracts.

Hydrology background includes:
-Specialized in hydraulics in civil engineering.  
-Special studies in open channel hydraulics and groundwater hydraulics. 
-Worked as project manager on hundreds of water well contracts over the last 24 years.
-Prepared numerous hydrology reports for contracts following Phase I construction.
-Oversee in-house soils laboratory. 
-Have taught basic hydrology at state water well convention continuing education seminars. 
​-Attend four to five yearly seminars for continuing education through State of Texas, State of Louisiana, State of Arkansas, National Ground Water Association, and the Ground Water Institute in locals around the world.

Civic work includes:  Member of First United Methodist Church currently serving on the finance committee.  President emeritus of the McNeill Street Pumping Station Preservation Society,  32nd degree Mason and Shriner,  Member of the North Shreveport Lions Club,  Member and Past Commodore of the Shreveport Yacht Club,  Past President and Chairman of building committee at Fellowship United Methodist Church during main building phase of church, Member of Agurs Business Association.  Currently serving on the board of Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation.

Professional associations include:  Member and past president of Ground Water Institute, Member of NGWA (National Ground Water Association),  Member and past president of LGWA (Louisiana Ground Water Association),  member of the Louisiana Governor’s Advisory Committee for the Regulation & Control of Water Well Drillers, member of the Ground Water Institute.

Hobbies include:  Sailboat racing, writing, travel, lecturing on monetary history.

Family:  Married to Donna "Puddy" LaBorde for 43 years with two adult children; Christopher and Elizabeth. They are also the proud grandparents of three. 



Karl Bradley
Karl currently serves as General Manager at Continental Drilling & Service, Inc. Karl attended the University of Toledo, in Ohio. Before he began a career in drilling he worked with water in the marine industry. Karl was Loft Manager and Sailmaker at North Sails in Minden, NV, and Newport, RI. Most recently he worked with carbon fiber composite construction as the Production Manager at Offshore Spars in Detroit, MI.  

Karl heads up the estimating department and is responsible for all bids and estimates on projects. Karl also has knowledge in geo-physical, down hole video inspection, electric logging operations and performs those services for Continental Drilling & Service, as well as for other drilling contractors from time to time.

Civic Work Includes:  Member and current Chairman of Sailing Education at the Shreveport Yacht Club, Member of Toledo Ice Yacht Club, and a Member of First United Methodist Church of Shreveport.

Hobbies include:  Sailing, iceboating, windsurfing, skiing, camping, hunting, and travel. 

Family:  Married to Elizabeth LaBorde Bradley for seven years. They have three children, Leeda, Genevieve, and Johnson.

Shannon Aymond

Shannon Aymond currently serves as manager of the West Monroe operations.  He has worked in well maintenance and repair since the 1980’s and brings a wealth of knowledge on well re-lining and pump service back to Continental Drilling & Service to head up the West Monroe office.
